How it works

From cart to brand kit

  1. Customer orders in FOSSBilling

    A BrandForge product is added to cart in your FOSSBilling storefront.

  2. Module provisions the account

    FOSSBilling calls the BrandForge module, which creates the account under your reseller ID.

  3. Brand kit is generated

    The customer is welcomed into your white-labelled BrandForge instance.

  4. Lifecycle syncs both ways

    Create, suspend, unsuspend, and terminate events propagate in real time.

Setup

Setup

A handful of steps to go from install to first sale.

  1. Register interest

    Let us know you want it so we build it against real needs, not assumptions.

  2. Clone from GitHub

    When released, clone the repository into /modules/BrandForge/ on your FOSSBilling install.

  3. Activate the module

    Enable BrandForge in the FOSSBilling admin under Extensions.

  4. Add your API key

    Enter your BrandForge API key from the partner portal in the module settings.

  5. Create products and sell

    Create FOSSBilling products that use the BrandForge server. Map each to a Godmode plan tier.

It is planned but not yet in build. Register interest and the team will prioritise it based on demand.

Will it be open source?

Yes. The module will ship on GitHub under an open licence. Fork, extend, and contribute back.

Can I self-support it?

Yes. The source is public, the API is documented, and the community can maintain it alongside BrandForge.

Is the customer experience white-labelled?

How does billing work?

You bill through FOSSBilling as you already do. BrandForge invoices you monthly at wholesale. You keep around 50 percent of retail.

Who handles customer support?

You handle L1 with your customers. BrandForge handles L2 and L3 platform issues for partners.
